Solid silver oyster fork, Paul Reczka

Solid silver oyster fork, Paul Reczka

Argent massif

Maitre orfèvre :Paul Reczka

We offer you this solid silver oyster fork, from the Art Nouveau period and delightfully unusual! A very beautiful creation initiated by Paul Reczka.

The silversmith, Paul Reczka (1891-1912), created a very interesting oyster fork here, retaining the fork-like principle and adapting it to a spoon. An opening was created on the left side to allow cutting the membrane connecting the oyster to its shell.

The net-style handles are decorated with scallop shells and small flowers. The monogram "AB" is on the bottom of the handle.

Made of solid silver, Minerva 2nd standard hallmark and silversmith's hallmark inside the bowl.
