A superb set of 18 cheese knives made by two goldsmiths: Jules Piault and Gustave Leroy

The handles are made of mother-of-pearl, adorned with a ferrule featuring an anthropomorphic design. The blades are made of solid silver, bearing the Minerva 2nd standard hallmark.

Master silversmith: Jules Piault (established in the mid-19th century); Gustave Leroy (established between 1886 and 1896)

Condition:

Minor scratches due to age and use. Dents and impacts on the mother-of-pearl of 8 handles (See photos).

Les manches sont en nacre, agrémentés d'une virole à représentation anthropomorphe. Les lames sont en argent massif, au poinçon Minerve 2ème titre.
