Exquisite service of 12 solid silver and vermeil tea spoons, made by Alexis Désiré Lerat (1842-1843), in its original case. Napoleon III period.

Violin-shaped model, the Louis XV style sleeves are decorated with foliate scrolls.

The original case (cracked at the bottom) was made of exotic wood veneer. A brass band frames the edge of the case. The interior is lined with red silk (stains and tears).

 

Goldsmith's hallmark and Minerva 2nd standard hallmark inside the bowl.

Master silversmith: Alexis Désiré LERAT (1842-1843) (a rat; a star above)

Condition :

Micro-scratches are present due to age and use.

The case is in used condition, it is split at the bottom and the silk is stained and torn.

Description du bien

Ravissante service de 12 cuillères à thé en argent massif et en vermeil, réalisé par Alexis Désiré Lerat (1842-1843), dans son écrin d’origine. Époque Napoléon III.

Modèle violonnée, les manches, de style Louis XV, sont décor de rinceaux feuillagés.

L'écrin (fendu sur la partie basse) fut réalisé en bois de placage exotique. Un filet de laiton encadre le pourtour de l’écrin. Intérieur garnie de soie rouge (tâches et déchirures).

En argent massif et en vermeil, poinçon Minerve 2ème titre.

Etat du bien

Condition :
Présence de micros-rayures dues au temps et à l’usage.
Écrin en état d’usage, il est fendu sur le bas et la soie est tachée et déchirée.
