A rare Empire-style solid silver and vermeil fruit spoon for serving syrup. Made from a design created by Martin-Guillaume Biennais, former silversmith to Napoleon I. Bonus: it's also perfect for serving rum babas!

Extraordinary solid silver fruit spoon, formerly vermeiled, in the Empire style. Also ideal for small rum babas.

To the model created by the prestigious Martin-Guillaume Biennais, goldsmith to Napoleon I, on a design by Percier and made by Emile Pierre Queillé, last descendant of the famous and prestigious QUEILLÉ family of goldsmiths.

The handle is spectacularly and richly crafted with decoration of putti, palmettes, a cornucopia, a swan with outstretched wings, and a thyrsus ending in a pine cone and surrounded by vine leaves. All on a matte background.

Unmonogrammed medallion on the bottom of the spatula and surrounded by a frieze of laurels.

Extraordinaire cuillère à fruit au sirop, en argent massif et anciennement vermeillée, de style Empire. Idéal aussi pour les petits babas au rhum.

Le modèle - anciennement créé par Martin-Guillaume Biennais, orfèvre de Napoléon Ier, sur un dessin de Percier - a été réalisé par Emile Pierre Queillé, dernier descendant de la prestigieuse famille d'orfèvre Queillé.

Le manche spectaculairement et richement ouvragé est ornementé de Putti, de palmettes, de corne d’abondance, de Cygne aux ailes déployées, de Thyrse, se terminant par une pomme de pin entouré de feuilles de vigne.
Le tout sur fond amati.

Médaillon non monogrammé sur le bas de la spatule et entouré d’une frise de lauriers.

Le cuilleron en vermeil est repercée à la main.
